Counselling

Neurodiversity describes the natural variation in how human brains work. It affects how we process information, interact socially, focus, and experience the world. While it includes everyone, neurodivergence is commonly linked to ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette’s, and more. Around one in seven people are neurodivergent, highlighting the importance of understanding and supporting these differences.

Welcome to a space designed for you. Whether you’re looking for support, understanding, or simply somewhere safe to be yourself, I offer therapy tailored to neurodivergent individuals.

Counselling can feel daunting, especially when standard approaches don’t fit your experience. As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I understand the unique challenges—communication differences, sensory sensitivities, and the feeling of not quite belonging.

My approach recognises that neurodivergence isn’t something to fix. It’s part of who you are. Here, your needs and preferences are respected. You’re welcome to communicate however you feel most comfortable—through talking, writing, art, or other ways.

In this space, I prioritise:

  • Validation and Acceptance – Your experiences are real and valued.
  • Tailored Approaches – We’ll adapt therapy to suit how you process and engage, whether that’s using visual tools, breaking things into steps, or allowing for sensory needs.
  • Empowerment and Self-Advocacy – I’ll support you in understanding and expressing your needs and finding strategies that work for you.

Together, we’ll create space to explore what feels important, build on what’s already working, and find new ways to feel more at home in yourself.

How I can help

ADHD

ADHD shows up differently for everyone. It can affect focus, emotions, work, and relationships, leaving you feeling misunderstood or frustrated. Together, we’ll explore your unique experience, uncover what helps you thrive, and find practical strategies that fit your life. This is about understanding yourself…not changing who you are.

ADHD COUPLES

Living with ADHD in a relationship can bring joy, creativity, and connection, but also misunderstandings, conflict, and unmet needs. We’ll help you both understand how ADHD shapes your patterns, improve communication, and create ways to support each other without blame. This isn’t about fixing your partner, it’s about building a stronger, more connected partnership.

PARENTS / GUARDIANS

I know first hand what it’s like to raise neurodivergent kids into adulthood. Supporting a child with ADHD can feel overwhelming, confusing, and exhausting, but it can also be deeply rewarding. I help you understand your child’s world, navigate daily challenges with empathy, and develop strategies that honour who they are. Practical tools, insight, and confidence…without judgment.

Whatever brings you here, you’re welcome to get in touch to talk about how I can help.
